There is usually a space of time between the ceremony and
the reception reserved for taking pictures. During this break, the
decorations used for your ceremony can be moved into the reception hall.
You can save vast amounts of money by buying items that can be used more than once during your special day. Aisle and pew decorations used during the ceremony can be moved to the reception to decorate the head-table, cake table, or gift table. The table at which you will sit to sign the legal paperwork should be decorated with floral pieces. This is the most opportune time during the ceremony for picture taking...make your pictures lovely. A floral swag laid across the edge of the table, not only adds to the beauty of the moment, but it can also be very easily moved to accent the head-table during the reception. If you ask to have the swag made in two pieces, they can be used as presentation bouquets for the mother of the bride and groom, grandparents, or other honored guests. Add to the enchantment of the moment by making presentations of these bouquets during the toasts. Select a bouquet style for your bridesmaids that can be incorporated into the head-table decoration. Some styles can double as floral arrangements, and then make excellent keepsake gifts for your attendants.
